Opening trawls has been Morgère's business for more than 90 years.  They have come a long way since the production of the beam to hold open the trawl to the foam filled SUBTILE trawl door produced to work in the surface fishery.

Reducing trawling operation costs is essential today to reduce fuel consumption using more efficient, hydrodynamic designs.  To reduce maintenance costs using more durable shoes and to cut vessel down time by being able to replace lost doors immediately.

Morgère's goal for the 21st century is to bring the fishing tools to enable fishermen to fish deeper, wider and more quickly with opening systems like the CLUMP, SUBTILE and POLYFOIL.
